Bearcats Get Their First Taste Of Defeat
The Truro Bearcats got their first taste of defeat in their third exhibition game in the 2010-2011 MHL season. The Crushers defeated them 3-1
Jesse McInnis would open up the scoring in the first for the Crushers, Garrett Holmes and Corey Bennett would each score in the second to give the Crushers a 3 goal lead. Bearcats Jordan Cox would score in the second to give the Bearcats their only goal of the game.
In nets for the Bearcats was Kirk Rafuse (29:31--15/17) and Spencer Scott (30:20--20/21), Rafuse would pickup the loss. In nets for the Crushers was Andrew Sidey (30:20--19/20) and Jesse Cox (29:40--18/18), Cox would pickup the win.
Exhibition game 4 goes Saturday, Sept 4, 2010 in Truro @ 7:30 when the Crushers come to town.
